Our Mission
To teach the Bible and its practical principles through global outreach and domestic community engagement, equipping people to know God’s truth, apply it in everyday life, and share it with others. We fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) by making disciples through clear teaching, real-life demonstrations of stewardship, and intentional fellowship.
Our Vision
To see individuals and communities transformed by Scripture—discovering fresh starts in Christ, caring for creation as stewards, building resilient faith in challenging times, and forming intentional Christian communities where biblical living is modeled and multiplied. In the future, we aim to establish land-based "expedition outposts"—havens for discipleship, sustainable living, service, and mission—where families and believers can thrive together in God's design.
Our Story
Expedition Genesis Ministry grows out of a personal calling and real-life journey. Led by Christian Dickson (President and founder), the ministry builds on the real-world expeditions shared through the Expedition Genesis YouTube channel—practical explorations of alternative housing (like box truck conversions), sustainable living, and faith applied to modern challenges. These hands-on demonstrations illustrate biblical stewardship and resilience, showing how God's principles work in everyday life.
Alongside Christian, the ministry is governed by a dedicated board:
Bringing wisdom, support, and a heart for family and community discipleship.
Offering international perspective to strengthen global outreach, especially in Spanish-speaking and Latin American contexts.
We operate as a nonprofit religious organization qualifying under IRC Section 508(c)(1)(A), automatically exempt under 501(c)(3), focused solely on religious and educational purposes with full transparency and accountability.
Why We Exist
In a world full of noise and distraction, people need clear, adventurous guidance through God's Word. We exist to help you read it in Scripture, see it in creation and practical living, and live it through outreach and community. Whether you're exploring faith for the first time or deepening your walk, you're invited to join the expedition.
What We Believe
We hold the Holy Bible as the inspired, inerrant Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16-17). Core convictions include:
The Trinity: One God in three Persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone (John 14:6; Ephesians 2:8-9).
The call to love God and neighbor, live out faith through obedience and service (James 2:14-17), and steward creation responsibly.
The Great Commission as our mandate: teaching all nations to observe everything Christ commanded.
